The Salida BIKE & SKI SWAP was created in 2022 to fundraise for a bike park in Salida. It’s raised over $10,000 dollars which has helped Salida Mountain Trails and the City of Salida make a bike park a reality. The swap continues as a fundraising event. For 2026 the proceeds will help the non-profit Blue Elements in their mission to improve the watersheds of the Arkansas and Gunnison river basins.
